So glad we chose Anvil K9 Dog Training. Jake did an excellent job with our two pups. We sent our 16 wk husky/boxer/pit mix pups to Jake for the 3 week board and train. Important to note is that our pups are litter mates which brings significant additional challenges to the training effort. Jake worked diligently with the boys and gave us great insights on both the methods and importance of combating littermate syndrome. The boys have have been back home now for two weeks and are behaving excellent. Both walk great loose leash around our neighborhood and in the various stores we have visited with them in tow. Each have an established independence, and know their various commands (place, free, sit, down, heel, come). These boys are going to be moderately sized and pet ownership is a long term commitment. Jake is an incredible dog trainer! My dog, River, developed aggressive /territorial behavior shortly after moving to Chattanooga. She starting biting people and I began to see her as a liability. I knew that keeping her isolated from people and other dogs was not the answer so I signed River up for Jake's training class and, whoa, was I impressed! Jake was great at communicating and sending video updates on the River's progress. My jaw dropped the day that I watched a video of Jake walking my dog in a Home Depot and letting people, even kids, meet her! The training, tricks, and tips that Jake implemented while working with River did not just show in the video updates. Since River's training, I have been able to confidently walk River near other dogs, introduce her to people and other dogs in my house, and have started taking her on road trips again! Her positive behavior has afforded her more opportunities to make friends and play, as well as greatly lowered my stress and fear of her biting someone again, all thanks to Jake! BONUS! Since the training, Jake has been a great support in boarding River whenever I am out of town AND refreshes her training, which I see as a tremendous value! He is easy to coordinate with and always seems willing and available to work with my schedule.
