My giant schnauzer puppy was very high strung at times with jumping and “play biting” (with his big sis especially) and we thought getting him trained could help. Jake was more than amazing. In the 3 weeks of time he was there, Brunson came home very obedient and still the same playful 90lb 8month old puppy but without the biting and jumping. Jake worked on teaching Brunson the basics but by doing that it helped with so much more than just that. Now I don’t have to worry about my giant puppy not listening when we go on outings or our eventual first vacation. I’m going to be honest and I definitely recommend Jake at Anvil K9 dog training for helping you and your dog bond better with you being in control, but I do also recommend Jake work on cleaning the pups before they re-unite with their owner.

Jake did a wonderful job with our dog LuLu. She is a big personality and he did a great job working with both our family and her. Without Jake's training, our family could not take her with us on walks or hikes, and the kids could not walk her. Now, she comes with us everywhere and my trust in her has grown exponentially. For me as a mom and a dog mom, having Jake's training and support ultimately reduced my stress and has remade daily life into routines I can actually enjoy. His pricing is fair for all he does for the dog and you, and I only wish I would have engaged Jake sooner!
Jake is an expert and his training tips for 2 eight week old puppies were a lifesaver. Can’t recommend him highly enough.

We are so glad we sent our 5-month old lab puppy to Jake for 3 weeks of board and train! We were a little nervous to part with her, but Jake was very kind, professional, experienced, and clearly loves dogs. While she was in training, we got regular progress updates and when he brought her back home, he spent 1:1 time with us to make sure her training translated to our home environment. She’s still a playful pup, but she listens when we give her a cue and seems much more able to regulate. We’ve had her back home for two months and she’s doing great! We highly recommend Jake as a dog trainer.
