American Canine Academy Dog Training

There is something magical happening inside the fences at American Canine Academy. I brought my dog, Chief, in for some further obedience training after adopting him and working on behavioral issues myself and the trainers here were able to get him to that next level of obedience. He was booked into a 2 week board and train where I regularly received update videos and reports about his progress, what has been worked on since the last update and what is going to be worked on moving forward. Leaving my dog for 2 weeks was not easy but every update I received brought with it comfort in knowing he was happy, safe, and taken care of. I travel around 20 days out of the month for work so my dog is also boarded here when I don't have family or friends that can watch him. Every time I bring my dog here, he knows what is about to happen and you can tell he really does enjoy spending time here. He gets incredibly excited during the drive and when we arrive, and I attribute that to the amount of attention and love that he receives while he is staying here. My schedule is pretty chaotic so there are constant changes to my dogs boarding including early pick ups, cancellations, extensions, changing of pick up times and the crew here has been so understanding, helpful, reassuring and flexible with my schedule and I am eternally grateful! On top of all of that, they also offer group classes on Saturdays and Sundays (Sundays just started which is very welcomed) so you can further your dogs obedience training and the trainers can watch you with your dog and correct your human behaviors as well as the dog behaviors. With all that being said, a massive thank you and shout out to Melanie, Jayden, Jackie, Nicole, and everyone else who I am blanking on or haven't met yet who has had a hand in working with Chief and working with me!

I feel so lucky that I was able to find American Canine Academy, they are the first trainers I've been to and my GSD puppy Zeus and I couldn't be more happy with them. From the beginning where I had a really long phone call that might of got someone in trouble but helped me learn about who they are and what they do, to my private lessons with my trainer Jackie which helped so much and to the group lessons with Melanie, Nicole and Jayden, everything has been expetional. Jackie knew exactly how to handle my GSD puppy and did an amazing job teaching my puppy and me. The ability to text or call ACA whenever is so helpful and comforting, whenever I had any question, big or small, I could text them and they would give me amazing advice in a really timely manner. The group classes have also been extremely helpful, they are included when you do any of the training programs so I can always bring my dog to do some training on the weekends and I don't feel pressured to go if I don't need to. All of the trainers in the group training classes are amazing, they do a great job leading the whole group but won't hesitate to help you if you need individual assistance. They also have the best quality products to sell that you would want for your dog and even give great advice for other products that they don't stock (such as a buckle for prong collars). If you are looking for a trainer that will actually hold your dog and you accountable then this is the best place you could look for!
