We can't recommend Kassondra highly enough! We reached out to her to help prepare our 10 month old Bernese Mountain Dog, Noli, for some big life changes: a new baby arriving this fall and a move into a new home in the coming weeks. We wanted to build a strong foundation now so Noli could transition through both changes as smoothly as possible. From our very first session, Kassondra did an incredible job assessing Noli's personality, strengths, and areas where she needed the most support. She created a training plan that felt realistic, manageable, and tailored specifically to our dog and our goals. One thing we really appreciated was her in home approach. Having her observe Noli in her everyday environment gave us much more meaningful training than we would have gotten in a traditional group class. Without the distraction of other dogs, we were able to fully focus on learning the techniques ourselves and understand why we were doing each exercise. While training around distractions is certainly important, and something we'll continue practicing in public, it was so valuable to first build those skills in a calmer setting where both we and our dog could succeed. Kassondra was always punctual, incredibly responsive over email, and gave excellent recommendations for treats, toys, and training gear that worked well for Noli. She was also wonderful at explaining not just WHAT to do, but WHY it mattered, which gave us the confidence to continue practicing between sessions. The biggest factor in our success was consistency. We committed to short daily training sessions where we could, and with Kassondra's guidance, we saw noticeable progress much faster than we expected. Noli became more engaged, more responsive, and we've gained practical tools that we'll continue using for years to come. We're so grateful for Kassondra's expertise and support throughout this process. We fully intend to stay in touch and are already looking forward to using our bonus lesson after we move into our new home, just before our baby arrives. We know it will be another big transition, and we're thankful to have someone we trust to help us navigate it. Kassondra is amazing and I highly recommend her for anyone looking to train a puppy. As first time dog owners, she was so knowledgeable in helping us understand what our puppy Molly was going through during her 3-4 month growth spurt and helped us learn techniques that set her up for continued success as an adult dog.
