For the board and train do the trainers keep the dog in their own house?
How many hours per day do they work with the dog?
Currently, our Board & Trains are housed with our trainers in their individual homes. As for how much time per day is spent actively working with them, that is strictly dependent on the dogs themselves. We work dogs one-on-one, as well as take them out on field trips when they are ready to take their training into more public environments, so it can vary from day to day. We do our best to give each dog the individual time they need in order to help them make progress every day, without ever overextending.

I have a 4mo old GSDmix that bites,jumps , and barks alot. Do y'all have a training class for puppies, if so how long and what is the cost?

Yes! We do currently offer a Puppy Program for puppies starting as early as 10 weeks!

I’m so happy I was referred here. If it wasn’t for Rachel and her team I don’t know what I would do. I had been struggling with my st.bernards reactivity but Rachel helped me and my dog gain confidence together. We did a reverse board and train. My dog would bark and lunge and now I’m able to walk him around. While it isn’t goodbye I’m sure going to miss the mornings we spent training. I had a blast and I’m just overjoyed at the progress my St.Bernard has made. You guys are seriously the best. I can’t thank you enough.

Great training experience with Megan and Alpha Dog Training. Our puppy was very energetic but was overstimulated and couldn’t focus. Megan was great to help us connect with Winston in a way that appealed to him so he stayed engaged. After a few lessons he was much improved and is better in a socialized setting. Thanks so much for the great start for our new pup.

I can’t say enough about how awesome Rachel was with my 4-5 month old Australian Labradoodle, Delilah. Delilah loved Rachel and so did my husband and I! She is extremely knowledgeable with her skill! We are looking forward to Delilah’s next step into basic training with Rachel!!
