Alpha Dog K9 Training

Janine and Nick were beyond amazing with our 3 1/2 year old pit mix. They were referred to us by a coworker and we are so happy we decided to hire them to train our dog Stella. Stella is a very energetic dog who was the queen of the house. Nick and Janine taught us how to show her all the love in the world (like she's used to) while teaching her that we are her alpha. We were blown away with the progress she made and continues to make. If you are on the fence about hiring them to train your dog, do yourself a favor and DO IT! I promise you won't regret it!

There are not enough amazing things to say about our experience with Janine and Nick and Alpha Dog Training! When looking for a trainer, we wanted someone who was patient, kind, and did not use treat motivation or shock collars and Janine and Nick have the perfect training approach. Through allowing Daisy to make mistakes and then gently correcting her, she was able to learn very quickly. I was blown away that after just 15 minutes into the first lesson, my dog Daisy was walking beautifully on a leash. Being a Bernese Mountain Dog, she will be over 100 pounds. Walking on a leash was my number 1 priority for her safety, mine and others. What I love about their program is that it is easy to follow and understand and Janine and Nick make sure to explain everything to you in great detail so you are successful with your training on your own. We just finished our 10 sessions and I am forever grateful to Janine and Nick for everything they have taught Daisy and my family. They have given me the confidence to continue my work with Daisy each day! I am really going to miss seeing them each week and know Daisy will too. She absolutely adores them! We are on a path to have her therapy dog certified and have no doubt that with this training course she will pass with flying colors. I had trained with 2 other trainers and was frustrated with the lack of progress. I decided one last try and found Alpha Dog K9 Training. Boy, was I surprised when after just 15 minutes, Charlie was under control. I found out he was smarter than me and was playing me. Janine and Nick then very patiently trained ME! We bought a super tiny teacup this past June and I wanted her to be able to socialize with my daughter’s older dog as well as do commands. Let me tell you about Janine and Nick. What an amazing perfect duo to train your dog. Not only are they experienced, their calmness, loving and caring selves with their ability to control and train our dogs in these 10 visits were truly astounding. They bonded with them immediately and treated them like their own. My husband, daughter and I really would like to thank them for their understanding and kindness and wonderful training our dogs have received. We actually will miss seeing them each week. We highly recommend you use them for any training needs. You won’t be disappointed. Dory and Harley are now sisters and we can’t be any happier.
