About All-Star Dog Training
All-Star Dog Training is a locally owned and operated dog training company that focuses on basic obedience, off-leash control, aggression and anxiety. We are also the home of the late great Ripken, the former Bat Dog for the Durham Bulls Minor League Baseball team and Kicking Tee Retriever for the NC State football team! At All-Star Dog Training, we pride ourselves on helping dogs and their owners build stronger relationships. Whether you choose our Private Lessons or one our Board & Train programs, you will have continued support with ongoing group training classes and access to a team of professional dog trainers whenever you need help. They took the time to understand Midas’ personality and tailored the training to meet his needs. Not only is Midas more obedient and confident, but we also feel more confident as pet owners. The tools and techniques they’ve shared with us have made such a positive impact on our relationship with him. We love seeing his progress and the joy he gets from learning! The entire team has been amazing to work with—professional, friendly, and always available to answer our questions. I took my 5 month old puppy, Poppy, here to attend the day train program to work on leash walking, impulse control, and basic manners and obedience. She’s a stubborn breed and full of energy but the staff here embraced all of her craziness and worked with her through it all. We mostly had sessions with Greyson and Ori who were patient with her and her short attention span. Poppy successfully graduated the program and does much better on leash and out in public now! We have only gotten to attend one group class so far but look forward to continuing to work with the staff here at classes and shape Poppy into the best version of her.
