All In Stride Dog Training

My husband and I have never had a home trainor, but the new adopted rescue was a handful (I have pictures!) I honestly thought this poor dog will never get to leave the crate.Ellie was so gentle and kind to our new rescue Elvis. She was there to train him, but she didnt ignore our older girl who was feeling alittle left out. Her gentle approach is very effective for a new rescue, the last thing he needed after being kicked around on the streets of Tennessee was an aggressive approach. He was so happy to see her and eager to please her. She is very knowledgeable with training and any other category I had about dogs. Thank you All in Stride, and my house and furniture thanks you!

I could not recommend Elly more highly! We started to work together a couple of weeks before I brought a puppy into our home. I knew nothing about how to effectively raise and train a dog. She advised me on everything from what to purchase, how to set up my home, how to establish a schedule that worked for both the puppy and my family, and how to address unwanted behaviors. She is incredibly knowledgeable, responsive, and encouraging… An absolute pleasure to work with and a resource I cannot imagine navigating this pet transition without.

Elly was amazing! Not only with our puppy but with our family. Our new addition (puppy) adores her and was so excited whenever she came. Elly was great at including our 6 year old daughter in the training sessions. To this day she listens to my daughter and she knows the correct command words to use and how to reward accordingly. Elly was helpful in answering a lot of questions and was receptive to focusing on the training issues we found most important for our day to day lives. She gave us the tools and the resources to be able to continue her training after our time with her was over. Elly is such a kind, smart, caring, and dedicated person! She took the time to get to know and understand our formerly abused and very high strung rescue pup, Ellie (not to be confused with Elly with a “Y”!). She was able to break down the psychology of Ellie’s behaviors and triggers so we could understand the world through our dog’s eyes. She offered gentle strategies to put Ellie at ease, manage her environment, and reinforce positive behaviors. Additionally she recommended anxiety medication and communicated with our vet for the prescription. She also made sure our older dog Obi wasn’t neglected and had his own needs addressed. I highly recommend Elly not only for basic dog training but also for more complicated and nuanced behavioral and emotional issues! Pictures of our pups for cuteness tax 😊

Elly is amazing! We hired her to help us with training our one-year old golden retriever. She immediately put us all at ease; she was incredibly patient and non-judgmental, listening to all of our needs and concerns and attending to how our puppy was feeling and reacting each step of the way. She even took the time to include our kids in the training and helped them to feel comfortable and confident in their interactions with our puppy. We highly recommend All in Stride!
