All Dogs Unleashed Dog Training Boise

I’m always impressed when I stop by All Dogs. The staff is super friendly and welcoming, and you can tell they really care about every dog. The facility is spotless and well-kept, which makes a big difference. What amazes me the most is seeing dogs come in for the week program every time I visit, I see how much progress they make. It’s clear the team here knows what they’re doing and truly loves what they do.

If you have a reasonably well-trained dog you just want to help kick a few bad habits for and are a fan of just flushing money down the toilet, then All Dogs Unleashed Boise is the place for you! We brought our 7-month-old puppy, Rusty, to All Dogs Unleashed and were over the moon at the thought of leaving him for two weeks, because we were so confident from their website that they could help us. The disappointment we have felt since bringing him home can not be overstated. Rusty's a great dog. We live on two acres out in the rural Kuna area. We crate trained him, potty trained him, and have generally trained his overall behavior. Between that and his generally mellow disposition, he is a really good dog. We brought him to All Dogs Unleashed because we decided to take him out of the crate. In doing so, we have come home to see he's chewed shoes or stuffed animals or other random things left on the ground. And we've caught him on the table or counter looking for food that has been left out. The most difficult and critical behavior we needed professional help kicking was that he would chase our chickens out in the yard. Not a big deal when we're outside with him, but the kids like going outside with him and have no ability to stop him chasing the chickens. We sought out the professional help because we knew we didn't have the knowledge/time/ability to train these behaviors out of him. So after a lot of research, we felt confident All Dogs Unleashed did have the knowledge/time/ability. We call them, explain his needs, schedule a drop off, and literally count down the days to drop off because we can't wait for our new and improved dog. When we dropped him off, we explained all of these behaviors as what we wanted their help training out of him. We also told them we wanted him to fetch with the kids. They told us at drop off that they don't teach fetch. No problem. That wasn't nearly as crucial to us as the other behaviors, which we were assured could be trained. The facility wasn't nearly as nice as we were lead to believe from the website, but we were willing to have faith anyway. We pick Rusty up and find out they basically just gave him a shock collar and told us to shock him when he would do stuff we didn't like. Wow, thanks. I'm so glad I spent $2k for a shock collar and instructions that probably come in the package for the shock collar. They did successfully teach him to go to his place (bed) when commanded, so we decided to give it a faithful few weeks. The shock collar does prevent him from doing the naughty things if we catch him early enough or catch him in the act, but we didn't pay $2k just so we can stare at our dog 24/7. He chews on things while we're asleep or away. He jumps for the kids' left out food when we've got them in the bath, or we're running to practices. When I tell you that literally none of the behaviors we wanted trained were trained, I mean it. I genuinely have no idea what these people did with our dog for two weeks, but I think it was more likely that they were picking up his poop with the money we gave them than it was putting any ounce of effort into training the behaviors we asked them to train. I have tried swallowing this, but I can't in good conscience let anyone else be swindled by this awful establishment like we have been. I would have much preferred to light my money on fire and roast some marshmallows on the flames than pay that money to these people. And I don't even like marshmallows. I only gave it two stars so hopefully more people would actually read this review. It's truly 0/5. Wouldn't recommend to anyone who actually likes their dog. Embarrassed I spent so much money here.
