All Around K9 Training

I cannot express how truly appreciative we are of the whole team at AAK9! Their communication, dedication, skill, and ability to teach are above and beyond. We brought our 5 month old puppy to them and learned so much as dog owners. They are transparent and ensure we are a good fit for one another. The “human trainings” (I kept calling it that) were extremely informative (knowledge & hands on). Also, super chill people to interact with which is always a plus.

As a first-time dog owner, I was struggling with my high-energy and immature German Shepherd puppy, Mako. He constantly pulled on the leash, making it impossible for my wife (who is quite small) to walk him safely. After working with All Around K9 Training, and specifically our trainer Jason, the transformation has been unbelievable. Mako now walks in a perfect heel, listens to multiple commands, and has developed incredible discipline, obedience, and confidence. The trainers took him out in public to work on desensitization, which made a huge difference in his overall behavior. Not only did they train Mako, but they also took the time to educate us on how to maintain his progress at home. The only thing I wish they had done was provide before and after videos - though this was never discussed, so I don’t hold it against them. Still, it would have been a cool keepsake. Overall, this was an amazing experience, and I highly recommend All Around K9 Training to anyone looking for effective, professional, and educational dog training. Jason was an awesome, friendly, and enthusiastic trainer. 100% worth every penny!

I can't say enough how happy I am with All Around K9. Jason was amazing with my dog Goose, who struggled with anxiety, reactivity and most of all a lack of confidence. Jason and Gary were very thorough explaining the best course of action to help Goose. Jason was patient and kind with Goose, as well as understanding and respectful of my questions and concerns. He made sure I was comfortable with the training techniques, allowing me to be a better leader, helping Goose gain confidence. In a short time Goose has gained confidence and I have learned the skills to only help him continue to progress. I've had 2 young GSDs go through the 2 week board and train. My 6 month old boy just completed the training a few days ago with Jason. Gary, Tara & Jason are not only amazing trainers, they are amazing people. I didn't fully appreciate that it's one thing to train the dog, but training the human is equally important! When I was there for drop off, my lessons, and pickup I got to witness the patience, tolerance, and love they have for the dogs. I think I was harder to train than my pups, and fortunately they have displayed incredible patience and tolerance for me as well! The support they provide afterwards is top notch. Gary & Tara even came to Austin for my 1st boy to provide additional training & support. My 2nd boy, Jett, was a "wild man" 6 month old and Jason's calm, gentle firmness was perfect for Jett! Jett's been home 4 days now and the training once again exceeded my expectations! I learned so much in my 2 lessons and now back at home I am confident that Jett and I will continue to grow & improve. I know at any time I can contact Gary, Tara, and Jason for help or suggestions if I need it and they will be there for me. That means the world to me. Thanks so much Gary, Tara, and Jason!!
