Alamo Dog Obedience Club is an Indoor, climate controlled arena on packed dirt with obedience matting in the front crating area. We hold dog training class in basic manners & all levels of agility classes 4-8 weeks Beginner agility Our instructors are nationally recognized trainers, competitors and/or judges of their sport. ADOC holds basic manners, CGC, S.T.A.R Puppy, rally, agility, Scent work and Fast CAT events, practices and trials in accordance with the rules, regulations and standards of the American Kennel Club.

Do they train dogs not to be aggressive?
Alamo Dog Obedience Club has group basic manners classes. They do not deal specifically with aggression but reactive dogs may attend with instructor approval. The classes will cover the basics such as walk on leash, sit, stay, come, down as well as ‘don’t jump on me’, ‘leave that alone’ and ‘spit that out’. A CGC test is available to dogs the last week of class.

my pup i got from the shelter seems to be house broke but still has accidence in the house i think out of spite how much to really get her house broke.
Dogs do not have accidents out of spite. You need to take them out alot & crate train them or use baby gates to restrict them while they are learning. A bladder infection should also be ruled out by your vet.

Amazing place with great instructors! I started with the very basic class, and have taken the next two levels. My dog was a willful, unruly border collie mix. Now, she'll come at my call and is the envy of my local dog park. The instructors do a great job with the dogs and an even better job with the humans. They're available to answer any questions in and outside of class. I'll be going back for agility in the fall!
Love going out with my pupper, Xena! I finally have the ability to communicate with her in a way that she understands. We both love the Alamo Dog Obedience Club. They have amazing instructors, great pricing, and a great space for training. We will be back for advanced training and agility!

Two words..... Cora Harnish! So Mocha, I was convinced that she would be the dog that could never be trained. I really had no idea what to expect when we first came to get help. I explained what we were dealing with to Cora and she knew exactly what to do. From the very first lesson Mocha, our Jack Russell Terrier was attentive, and willing to be trained by Cora's respectful guidance. Mocha and I each week were gaining the tools to be able to communicate respectfully with each other. The classes with Cora were exactly what we needed to help deal with things that come up on our daily walks or when we have guest visit the house. I totally recommend the Alamo Dog Obedience Club to training your dogs.
I have a six year old dog that lived on a ranch chasing whatever he wanted for 1.5 years. On our walks he would pull aggressively on his leash towards other dogs, which was very embarrassing. I have a six year old dog that lived on a ranch chasing whatever he wanted for 1.5 years. On our walks he would pull aggressively on his leash towards other dogs, which was very embarrassing. Not only that, but my wife could not walk him when I was away on travel due to this. Now that my wife is pregnant this was obviously an area of concern for us. Cora came in and immediately reinforced good behaviors through positive reinforcement. In the six short weeks, our fur-baby learned so much and with more practice will only get better. I can now walk him and am able to redirect his attention with confidence. We are so lucky to have found her. Do keep in mind that these are one hour group sessions, so for best outcomes YOU will have to do additional work. Cora just lays the foundation for you and your fur-baby! EXTREMELY affordable, loving/enthusiastic trainer and HIGHLY recommend for dogs of all ages.
