Aft Dog Training

I never knew much about E collars. Every dog my family or I had ever had was well behaved and did great with just basic obedience training. Then we met Sadie. We rescued her and could tell she was a dog who NEEDED to be trained. We attended a positive only class where we were asked to leave because Sadie couldn’t stop barking at everyone even after being sequestered behind a curtain so she couldn’t see the other participants. During her private session there she aced all of the sit, down, stay commands and we were told she didn’t need any further training. Long story short she had some dog aggression issues and we hired a positive only trainer to come to our house. After weeks of training he finally attempted to tackle the issue we had hired him for- dog aggression. He brought his dog to walk in front of our home and Sadie went nuts. We never saw him again. He cancelled our next 2 appointments and then he just stopped taking our calls. At our wits end we reached out to AFT and the rest is history. They gave us the tools and instruction needed to make Sadie a wonderful member of our family. It hasn’t been all rainbows and roses but when needed I have reached out to them and received guidance. She has boarded with them since her training and as I tell my family when they feel bad she’s being boarded I feel like she’s going to a place where the people know what to and what not to expect from her and love her for who she is. A huge thank you to the entire staff of AFT dog training and A Furry Tail Come True Too!!!! Our dogs are welcomed like family! We have been boarding with A Furry Tail Come True Too for about 3 years now and after some very unsuccessful pawsitive training we made the decision to send our boy to AFT. BEST DECISION EVER!!! At our initial training inquiry they knew Henry and his issues and were able to work with him to help him make better decisions!! Henry has come home much more confident and with a set of skills to help him be the best dog he can be!! He has even taught our senior dog what he learned from AFT!!! We continue to use AFT for boarding as we know that Henry will be well cared for and loved while he is there!! Anyone looking for training - this is worth every penny!!!!
