I can’t say enough good things about my experience with Avi!! I was desperate, needing help with my doodle mix. We recently moved to the area and walking on a leash was nearly impossible. I’ve had many dogs over my lifetime, no issues with training on my own. I was stuck, we were stuck! All the things we planned to do as a family seemed impossible as we couldn’t even make it out the front door. Theodore presented challenges I was not familiar with. Weighing 1/2 as much as I do, controlling on the leash was nearly impossible. Avi is teaching us so many things about walking on leash, leash pressure, body language… I can go on and on. On our 1st session, within minutes, Theodore was walking on the leash like it was second nature. This proved that I had made the right decision when I reached out to Avi for his help. We just completed our 2nd sessions in and I can’t wait for our next one! Avi is teaching me as well as Theodore how to work together. We looked for a trainer because our dog Pochacco reacted badly to driving cars and he struggled with pulling on the leash. It was very hard to take him for a walk; he escaped once and ran to the main street. We were so lucky that he didn’t get hurt. We had tried different approaches, but none worked. I contacted Avi and he returned my call after few minutes. He listened very tentatively when I described all the issues about my dog, he told me that his behavior was fixable, he gave me hope. On the first session, he analyzed our behavior as well, not just the dog.  He explained to us how our fears and worries are passed on to our dog; that’s the main reason for his behavior. We made so much progress in only two sessions. We are looking forward to learning more from him. Avi is very kind and patient to our family and dog. We feel very fortunate that we found him. Avi deserves more than 5 stars. When we lost our other baby to cancer, we weren't sure we would be able to fill the holes in our hearts. We found Samantha at one dog at a time and our hearts melted. She was so skittish and fearful but we knew she was meant for us. Along came Avi a true God send and blessing. Initially we wanted to crate train Samantha but with her history it wasn't meant to be. Avi worked miracles with her with compassion, patience and love. We are forever grateful. We highly recommend Avi.
