Adams K-9

Our dog Dunkin is FOREVER a Adam's K-9 dog. At first, I'll be honest we were shell shocked by the cost but then we thought about the true investment of having a well mannered dog that we loved for hopefully 10-12+ years. Taking our 6 month old Rott/Shepherd/Lab rescue mix to Adams was hands down THE best thing we could have EVER done. We did the 10 day program and by the first day he was learning how to sit on command, by day 5 he was heeling, sitting when we would stop walking, waiting, and getting better at place and recalling. Dunkin finished his program 3 days ago. Yesterday we went to PetSmart and we got FIVE compliments, one in particular was a middle aged man who was standing in line at the checkout watching as I walked Dunkin past the cats, past two lanes of people, and 3 kids, ending at the aisle of treats that were all out lose. When I got to the aisle I stopped to read a box as I stopped Dunkin immediately sat right at my side. I then moved down the aisle and did the same thing and Dunkin repeated his skill. As I went back towards the aisle this man says "I just have to say how impressed I am with your dog, I've just never seen a dog walk when his owner does and stop and SIT when the owner stops walking. I just can't get over it." At this point the man asked "how old is your dog? he must have had a lot of training from a pup." The man was shocked once more when I said we have had him for 3 weeks and he has only been to training for 10 days.....needless to say I recommended to the man (who was holding a PetSmart puppy classes brochure in his hand to look into Adams K-9. We love Adams K-9 and are SO thankful for all of the recommendations we had to check them out ourselves! You won't be disappointmented!!

Randy and his staff are absolutely phenomenal when training and caring for my fur baby! We started our venture with basic puppy classes and moved into the more intense two week class. Our puppy is so much better behaved now. We have done daycare and boarding through Adams K-9 and Kai (our 5 month old German Shepherd) is so excited every time he gets to go. I would highly encourage all dog owners to utiiize the resources that Adams K-9 has to offer!
