Activate Canine Dog Training

I brought my Corgi (aka, the tiny terror) puppy to Alicia for training. He had so much energy and didn't listen! He scavenged everything and was a terrorist. I was fearful he would get into something and get hurt. I tried and tried to get him to follow commands, until finally after 2.5 months of traditional training, he broke me - literally. I was very apprehensive about leaving him in a board and train, but Alicia eased my fears and made me feel confident and relaxed. He was in training for 3 weeks in her Activate Essentials Program and during that time she made sure to update me and send me pictures and video. When he came home, he was the best puppy ever! If I didn't know better, I'd swear she switched dogs. She did a wonderful job with him. She taught ME how to be the best dog parent I could be and trained me to make him a better dog. She follows up and is still in contact with us to this day. I know that I can always rely on her and her training expertise should anything arise. I seriously can't begin to thank her enough. We can’t recommend Activate Canine enough! We enrolled our two dogs (a German shepherd/lab mix and an Irish setter) in the 3 week program and we couldn’t be happier with the results! Not only did the board/train address all of our concerns, but the one on one training lessons have been so helpful for us to learn how to reinforce the training. Let’s get a Cane Corso puppy we said. It will be fun we said. Maybe we should have done this a few years ago when we were younger we said! We got Bulleit (like the bourbon) at four months old. When he reached ten months old, 120 pounds, we decided we needed help. While Bulleit was full of love, he was also full of uncontrollable energy, mischief, and had high anxiety when left alone. We were a bit apprehensive about giving up our pup for a few weeks, but after meeting with Alicia we felt confident with our decision. We soon learned it was the best decision we could have ever made for Bulleit, and for ourselves. When Alicia brought Bulleit home to us, we were absolutely amazed at the transformation. The list of things Bulleit, and we learned from Alicia is too long to list. When Bulleit saw Alicia for the first time afterwards, he was so incredibly happy. He loves her! This brings us comfort in knowing that we also have a place to board him that he will love. We still have our sweet, fun and happy Bulleit, but now he is living his best dog life!
