ACC (Applied Canine Concepts LLC)

ACC was amazing. They changed my spastic puppy from a bundle of out-of-control impulses into a well behaved, pleasant little puppy. But he is not just more pleasant for us; I believe Oakley is also a happier dog for the training he received. To be perfectly honest, I had no idea what I was doing with Oakley before I dropped him off for his training. But what a difference two weeks made! It wasn't only the dog they trained--they also trained me and my whole family. We now feel confident that we can keep Oakley's training in place, and, amazingly that we can continue his training and introduce new things we want him to learn. I love how accessible the trainers at ACC are after training is over. I can reach out and ask questions, and they are always there to help. It's amazing. I am so grateful for ACC! Strongly recommend anyone to find the right program for their dog and go for it! Best investment we ever made!

I could right a paper on how happy we are with ACC - Gina, Fabian and kennel staff. We brought two adult German Shepherds to them for 3 weeks of board and train. To start off these babies had never been boarded or stayed a night away from us, so that was the hard part. While they were in Gina and Fabian’s care we received text, photos, videos, and calls updating us on their training and overall wellbeing. The main issue we were having was reactivity and a little dominance issue with our male. We also wanted to be able to walk them off leash and know they would come when called. Pick up day was an exciting day for all!! We spend quite a bit of time working with Fabian individually with each dog and then them together. This is where I could write a paper but to keep the review short and sweet I will stick to the highlights. First off TOTAL TRANSFORMATION in both of them. They were so focused, well behaved, and happy. They moved through every command without hesitation we were all in awe (all 4 of us). Fabian explained everything to us without rushing or making us feel dumb with our questions and mess ups while we learned how to interact and work with them both. At one point during our training Gina brought out her intact male to walk around us as a distraction to our intact male and I was nervous because he would normally go nuts when just seeing a person!! Fabian walked me through how to keep his focus on me. I was floored by his calm focus on me!!. Since pick up we have been in contact with Gina a lot sending videos and questions. She’s amazing at predicting what you are doing before even seeing it. They provide loads of video examples of what you need to do to achieve the behavior you are after as well as training sessions after pick up. We are a few weeks out and so happy we did this. If you are on the fence about training with ACC don’t hesitate!! Your baby or babies will be in the best hands and when you pick them up you’ll be picking up everything you love and enjoy about them minus the frustrating behaviors!

Our 4 y/o Labradoodle just completed 3 weeks of training with Gina and Fabian. We are so impressed and happy with the result. Following several unsuccessful attempts with other professional trainers I found ACC. Gina and Fabian gave all of us the professional, personnel attention and individual instructions that have led to a great outcome. We are very grateful and can now look forward to a happy household.
