Jim Stile of Acadia Canine Academy is truly a wonderful trainer. My dog, Charlie stayed with Jim for 3 weeks and came back to us a brand new dog. Before we could not walk him without him pulling the leash, barking, and constantly jumping at people. Now we can walk him outside and bring him to dog friendly stores and we couldn’t be happier about it. When we arrived to pick up Charlie I wanted to go over what he has learned so that we can continue his training when he gets home and Jim spent several hours teaching us and answering any questions we had. I mean REALLY he took the time out of his busy day and dedicated it to us. He is knowledgeable and such a pleasure to talk to. I most certainly recommended Jim if you are thinking about training your dog. I was so skeptical of leaving my dog with a stranger because I had such a soft spot for him, but Jim is genuinely such a wonderful person on top of being a top-notch dog trainer and I could tell he really cares for each dog he trains. Jim was keeping in touch and providing specific updates about Charlie and would always return our calls. Definitely use ACA training and you will not be disappointed!

I cannot say enough good things about Jim. He truly changed my life by changing my dog. My rescue dog was in desperate need of behavior training and after two weeks with Jim she was a completely different dog. My friends have all commented on the unbelievable transformation and others ask me how my dog is so well behaved. He even boarded my older dog while he was training the puppy, which was great for the dog’s relationship as it provided a time for them to bond without me. Jim is kind, patient, and very generous with his time, and as he jokes, a great therapist to the dog owners!

Great service! Dropped off my pit/terrier mix for the 2 week program and saw incredible results in terms of her obedience as well as comfort around things that would previously set her off. Would definitely recommend! James sent a detailed review of what he worked on with my dog every day. Additionally he showed me important tips and tricks to continue training after the two weeks were over.

James with ACA K9 Enterprises is absolutely amazing. KJ had no training whatsoever he was wild and out of control. KJ stayed with ACA K9 Enterprises for three weeks and I am so pleased with his progress . I recommend ACA K9 for all of your dogs training needs.
