Manners- jumping, chewing, barking, digging, pulling on a leash, impulse control at doors and other thresholds, marking, and more. Advanced obedience and off- leash training. Behavior modification programs for reactivity to people, other dogs, animals, cars, etc. National Service Dog Program and therapy dogs. Standard poodle breeding for service and pet homes. Puppy raising. We offer board and train programs and lessons in Florida. Our poodle breeding program offers standard poodles for service and pet homes nationally.

How much do you charge for puppy training?
Hi Madison, We provide two main options for training: in home lessons or board and train program. In home lessons are once a week for 4 weeks to start. We have trainers based in Ponce De Leon, DeFuniak, and Crestview. The price is dependent on location starting at $125 per lesson. Board and trains for a puppy are dependent on age. A board and train program is where your dog stays with our professional trainer and receives daily training. We would teach you through out and after what we are teaching your dog. After a recommendation from a friend I decided to send my very active Boxer to Above the Standard for training. I cannot recommend them enough, they completely transformed Kevin’s ability to take family walks (next to a stroller and with an older child riding around too). Kevin and I work hard to keep up with what he’s learned and it shows! Would absolutely recommend Emily and Jay any day!
Above the Standard Dog Training is without a doubt the BEST! Emily and her staff are compassionate, knowledgeable, and have a natural talent for working with dogs as well as their owners. They will give you and your dog the tools and knowledge necessary for making you both the best you can be.

I recommend everyone I know to train with Above the Standard Dog Training. From pack walks, to Board and Train, there isn't much they can't do for you. Other trainers talk about Absolutes and Basics while they train the dog you have to become the dog you want. You can train with anyone or you can Train Above the Standard.
