I came to Tyrese because my dog liked to pull on her leash and was timid meeting other dogs. I saw she had noticeable improvements on walks and in-home right away. One thing they champion is instilling confidence in your dog. It was that baseline they set that allowed for her improvements. Walks are more enjoyable and she has a much calmer energy when meeting other dogs now. I would highly recommend giving A Howling Good Time a try!

Our newly adopted 7 year old dog was a real cuddler. Unfortunately, he had clearly never had any training. After two months of trying on my own, I reached out to Tyrese and enrolled Otto and myself in A Howling Good Time’s month-long program. From day one I could see a difference, and from day one I came home with ideas for working with Otto, and the confidence to do it. We finished the course a week ago, and continue to work on skills. Otto is calmer, happier, and has new skills. (Me too!) Tyrese and Derrick have been wonderful to work with. They are knowledgeable, build great connections with the dogs, and were very easy to work with. When we first met, Tyrese listened carefully to understand our concerns. The videos he made are great tools for me to learn, and are great resources to keep for reminders. I highly recommend A Howling Good Time. I wish every rescue and their new family could spend a month with Tyrese and Derrick.

I come from a purely positive background, but after 3 months with my adult southern street dog rescue, I realized the positive approach was not going to change the behavioral issues I was struggling with. The relationship I had with my new best friend wasn't great and we were both frustrated. After doing tons of research and discovering balanced dog training, I reached out to Tyrese and we started working together very quickly. I noticed improvements after our first session and had a totally different dog by the third session. I cannot recommend Tyrese and A Howling Good Time enough. The work he's doing is amazing and I'm incredibly grateful for the time, effort, and patience he took with me and my dog. Thanks to him, we can enjoy going for walks, sitting on a patio, and being out in public in general. He worked with my wildly crazy schedule and taught me how to effectively use the tools I needed to help my dog become more confident and comfortable in her new life.
