Dog Training is very special to me because not only am I teaching dogs foundational skills but in some cases I am helping save some dogs’ lives by training them and helping owners work on building a strong relationship with their dogs. I attended school for professional dog training and behavior science and during that time I completed an internship at an established dog training company and volunteered at the Humane Society. Once I graduated, I chose to open my own dog training business because I wanted to give every client their desired results along with a great experience, which includes honesty, hard work, patience, and a game plan to achieve their goals.

We had a great experience with Tyrese at A Howling Good Time! This was our first time considering a dog trainer and we are so glad we did. Our rescue pup needed a jump start on many skills and we found ourselves unable to be successful in teaching her- mostly due to a lack of time and confidence on what to do. Tyrese trained her on the commands/skills and then trained us. He makes it as simple as possible so we feel like we understand how to teach her and can apply the skills we learned to more commands down the road. Any successful dog training can only be maintained by practice by the dog owners so keep that in mind. Tyrese gave us the knowledge and tools to be confident in maintaining her commands- which now only takes a few minutes a day. It's made life so much easier and our dog Hazel is calmer and happier :)

Tyrese knows his dog behavior and training! He uses humane techniques that are easy to translate to the daily home life. He explained all the techniques and training he did during my dogs board and train and fully answered all questions I had for him. Great team at Howling Good Time!

Tyrese is awesome! I highly recommend the 3 week board and train. Tyrese worked with my 1 year old beagle who was highly leash reactive and an overall terror. Blue, my dog, came back a new boy. Walks are now way less stressful and Blue gets compliments about how well behaved he is. Not only is Tyrese great with dogs, he communicated well and went the extra mile to make sure that the program was a good fit for me and my dog. He was very clear about what my expectations should be for behavior post training - I knew that I would have to maintain training if I wanted Blue to keep behaving so well. He’s also followed up since our board and train ended (Aug 2022) to see how Blue is doing. Really happy with my experience.
