Tyrese and his team are incredibly knowledgeable, thorough, friendly, and patient. I truly cannot recommend A Howling Good Time enough. We reached out to A Howling Good Time for our 4-year-old rescue, Macy. We adopted her when she was 6 months old, and she has always struggled with fear and anxiety. During the pandemic, her fear and anxiety was exacerbated due to her limited interactions with others. Wanting everyone to see the lovable goofball of a dog Macy is my partner and I decided to contact Tyrese and enroll her in the 3 week day training program. We saw an improvement in Macy's behavior almost immediately and after completing the program her behavior is night and day. Macy seems significantly less anxious and fearful, and she now seems much more comfortable and happier in situations that would normally cause her fear and anxiety. After the training Macy seems to be happier and has continued to be her goofy self. Throughout the program Tyrese and his team were incredibly hands-on and informative. It is evident that they are truly experts in dog training and understanding dog behavior. Tyrese did an amazing job of building Macy's confidence and exposing her to new situations to combat her fear and anxiety. In addition to the excellent work with Macy, Tyrese does an amazing job of educating the owners and setting expectations. I have had several dogs throughout my life, but Macy is the first dog my partner has had. Since going through the program, she is now much more comfortable correcting Macy's behavior, and I have noticed a huge difference in her confidence when having Macy out in situations that Macy used to react negatively to. Further, even though I have had several dogs, I learned so much from Tyrese on dog behavior and how to properly train a dog without pushing the dog too far. Although the training was focused on Macy, we learned so much. Tyrese was always incredibly straightforward and thorough when explaining the expectations, the training for the day, and what we needed to do outside the day sessions. During each day session Tyrese would share videos of what he worked on with Macy and how we can implement it at home. Once we went to pick up Macy, he would work one on one with us reviewing the training for the day, explaining what he worked on, and answering any questions we may have. Due to Tyrese clear and thorough guidance we have continued to see improvements in Macy's behavior even after the day sessions have ended. I got a Newfoundland puppy specifically for the purpose of him being a therapy dog. I work in a school. Hobbes started coming to school over the summer when their were no students. At the start of the school year he spent five weeks with Tyrese and he came home a whole new dog. After Thanksgiving, Hobbes started to go to school with me with the kids their. All of the teachers commented on the distinct change in him. He now goes to school with me 4-5 days a week and he is making a huge difference st the school. Students are learning about how to approach dogs. They have to ask to touch him. When he has maxed out on being handled, he takes 2 steps back and they have learned to watch for this. He can re-regulate a disregulated student in 30 seconds. He has helped teachers to develop relationships with their students. ALL of this is possible because of Tyrese and the work he did with Hobbes. I cannot say enough good things about Tyrese or his training methods.

We’ve been so happy with our training with Tyrese and his team. Our dog has high anxiety and fear towards other dogs and new people. After only a short time at the Day Training, she became much more comfortable around other dogs and has been less reactive. She’s been more open to being around new people and much more relaxed. It’s been amazing to see our dog comfortable, confident and overall happier in her own skin! Tyrese has been a great teacher for our dog and for us as well! We are so happy and can’t wait to continue to work with Tyrese as a resource for the rest of our dog’s life!
