Dog Training is very special to me because not only am I teaching dogs foundational skills but in some cases I am helping save some dogs’ lives by training them and helping owners work on building a strong relationship with their dogs. I attended school for professional dog training and behavior science and during that time I completed an internship at an established dog training company and volunteered at the Humane Society. Once I graduated, I chose to open my own dog training business because I wanted to give every client their desired results along with a great experience, which includes honesty, hard work, patience, and a game plan to achieve their goals.

Thor is doing amazing after his two week board & train program. He came back to us with a better overall temperament and the major issues we wanted help with have been practically nonexistent. Thor was stubborn the first 24hours after coming home while he figured out how much we knew but once he realized we were also trained, he started responding immediately. Having a 120 pound bullmastiff who loves his daily time in “place” is great and so necessary with such a big boy.

We needed help with our 120 lb Rottweiler Doug and after trying other training programs that didn’t match his needs a friend recommended Tyrese at A Howling Good Time! Doug had some resource guarding issues, obedience issues and pushed his weight around to get what he wanted. Now we can go on walks and Doug listens to us more and overall is more obedient. Tyrese listened to our concerns and always gave us quality information that we could follow. His calm demeanor also impressed us. I would definitely recommend him for large dogs and being able to give you the tools to continue training at home successfully.

Tyrese worked wonderfully with our female St. Bernard! He gave her the structure and tools she needed to be more confident. Our big girl did the four week training program and she is much more sure of herself with the outside world! She has adjusted well back home and has continued to thrive with the follow up trainings Tyrese has provided us. We couldn’t be happier with the outcome!

My dog was having increased anxiety and exhibiting more reactive behaviors after being isolated during quarantine. He has been well trained in our home, but was becoming more reactive while out of the home, on walks, and in public. After a very thorough phone consultation with Tyrese’s team and then an in-person meeting with our dog, it sounded like Tyrese was able to offer a program to help with our concerns. We opted for the board and train program and it was more than we could ask for! Tyrese sent videos regularly throughout the board and train process showing both skills our dog was working on as well as time playing with him. At the end, we had a debrief session to learn how to maintain all of his new skills. After the board and train process our dog is now a much more confident dog, has almost completely lost his reactive behaviors, and does very well in public and on walks now. Thank you!

Tyrese and his crew were very helpful and knowledgeable, my dog has always been a strong puller and thanks to just a fee weeks with them he pulls less and listens to commands without issue! I would highly recommend them.
