Owner/Lead Trainer, Kelly Citrin, CPDT-KA, FFCP, FDM, MBA, is a Therapy Dog instructor who serves as Secretary on the Board for the Animal Positive Coalition and served on the board for National Capital Therapy Dogs for 9 years. We offer classes & private sessions to meet any dog’s needs - Puppies, Adolescents, Adults, CGCs, Dog Sports, Growly Dogs (for leash reactivity!), Aggression, Confidence Building, Therapy Dog, Service Dog, Dog Sitting & Walking and Board & Train. We enrolled our GSD puppy Ruby in several different training classes with Kelly and her team, from basic puppy training to agility. Ruby loved learning and Kelly was amazing with her! Ruby was not the easiest dog to handle but we learned a lot from Kelly and our confidence grew with each class. Thanks to Four on the Floor we have a smart 3.5 year old dog who loves to learn and show off her skills!
Kelly and all of the trainers are amazingly patient not only with the dogs, but with the owners. We started working with Kelly and her team when one of my dogs started showing reactive behaviors. They have not only helped my pup, they’ve helped me learn and understand my dogs better!

When I met Kelly and 4 on the Floor I was feeling defeated with my 1-year old lab mix, Goofy. Prior to working with Kelly, we did puppy kindergarten classes and puppy socialization classes with Goofy, taught him all the basic commands and thought we were doing all the right things (we even had 14 years of experience with our last dog), but we didn’t know how to handle Goofy’s fearful and reactive behaviors. I was afraid to take him out in public for fear of when he would react to other dogs, people, and especially kids. After working with Kelly for just a few months, both in private training and group classes, Goofy is a totally different dog! He’s happy and confident, and much less fearful and reactive! I can’t believe his transformation. Even our occasional dog walker and sitter recently commented about his drastic changes! We are so thankful for meeting Kelly and having her help us on this journey with Goofy!

A year ago my dog and I were in a bad situation. He was 16 months old and became reactive to other dogs and I had been injured. At my first class with 4 on the floor immediately I knew I was in good hands because Kelly and her team told me "we got you, we can help." My dog and I with lots of positive training are now safely able to be around other dogs and I have my confidence back. We put in the work and it has paid off.
