Advanced dog training

Advanced K9 Academy trains Colorado's most charming family and working dogs. We Offer in-home training & board and train. In-home dog training consists of weekly visits from a certified dog trainer. Your dog trainer will assess your dog’s specific learning style, and compose a training program based off your needs. At the end of each training session, you will receive clearly defined homework and each lesson builds off the prior lesson.Your dog also have the option to live with us, while receiving quality training.

Training center lessons are by appointment only. Animal Connection Training is an all positive animal training & behavioral business. We offer private only lesson packages & consultations at our training center or at your home for regional clients. We (Gene & Kinna Ohman-Leone) are professionally certified trainers with credentials from Fear Free and Karen Pryor Academy. We love to learn and have additional professional training/experience working with reactive/aggressive dogs as well as rescue dogs who have undergone trauma. We offer lessons in: Basic Manners, Precious Puppies, Adolescents, Basic Agility, Adventure Skills, and more. We look forward to helping you and your dog!

Private lessons from puppies and dogs in the sports of obedience, rally, scent work & agility for competition or fun. Debbie is a National recognized dog agility instructor competing in AKC, USDAA & UKI agility. Debbie teaches group and private lessons at Alamo Dog Obedience Club in San Antonio, Texas and at her private outdoor arena in Spring Branch (Bulverde) Texas.

A Rochester native, Brian trained at one of the most acclaimed dog training academies in the United States. Brian excelled at all parts of his training program that ranged from puppy imprinting, obedience, agility, tracking, and narcotics detection. Brian focused on hands-on training and worked with a wide variety of dog personalities. Brian is certified and has successfully completed the Canine Good Citizen program. Brian can train your dog to prepare them for the Canine Good Citizen (CGC) program.
