Dog Training is very special to me because not only am I teaching dogs foundational skills but in some cases I am helping save some dogs’ lives by training them and helping owners work on building a strong relationship with their dogs. I attended school for professional dog training and behavior science and during that time I completed an internship at an established dog training company and volunteered at the Humane Society. Once I graduated, I chose to open my own dog training business because I wanted to give every client their desired results along with a great experience, which includes honesty, hard work, patience, and a game plan to achieve their goals.

Stoic Canine, LLC offers weekly boarding and training set in an stress-free environment as an alternative to larger, 'concrete and chain-link' environments. I only take in a handful of dogs at one time in order to maximize safety, training and growth opportunities. I personalize programs based on owner needs, whether you’re starting with a new puppy, a rescue, or addressing specific behavioral challenges. Up A Level K9 is nestled in rural Door County on a scenic 20-acre property surrounded by farmland. Your dog will stay in a facility attached to the owner’s home, with access to a fenced yard, a spring-fed creek, and private trails for daily walks at “Dogville.” We specialize in training ranging from basic obedience to behavioral issues, including aggression toward dogs or people. Training begins at our on-site facility and extends to various locations for socialization and real-world proofing. As your dog learns, you’ll participate in an educational program to strengthen your bond. Upon completion, you’ll receive a personalized go-home and reintegration plan tailored to your needs.

Hunt test programs for all levels. Hunting training - waterfowl, advanced waterfowl, and upland, for retriever breeds including Labrador, Golden and Chesapeake Bay.

NTK offers British Labrador puppies, started dogs, and monthly training for obedience, shed hunting, game recovery (tracking), upland and waterfowl training. We often raise and train puppies from our litters into started dogs in the areas you are most interested in. This builds you a great hunting companion and gives us an opportunity to see how our breeding turn out first hand.
