Mahogany Ridge was originally established in 1982 as a dog training school and retail shop in Lake George, New York. Now located in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, Mahogany Ridge brings a wide range of services to Culpeper County and North Central Virginia. The 16 peaceful acres are dedicated to dog well-being and pleasure. Multiple fenced in fields, woods, a creek, shade, pools in summer and ample parking are only a few of the features we offer to dogs and their owners. For over twenty years Theresa and Mahogany Ridge have flourished, offering dog training, daycare, retail dog food and supplies along with much support and advice to the many friends of Mahogany Ridge.

Specializing in training for service dogs, assistance dogs, working dogs, and therapy dogs. Proud to be certified to use Cynopraxis and LIMA (least intrusive, minimally aversive) dog training methods. Have the bond you have always wanted with your dog. This is where you "build relationships with canines". In addition to training we have a litter of specially breed Labrador Retrievers every 1-2 years for our service work program.
