Dauphin Dog Training Club has been training dog owners to train their dogs for over 70 years. We are an AKC-affiliated not-for-profit club run by volunteers whose members are avid dog enthusiasts! We offer fun activities for puppies and dogs to become well-socialized. Our dedicated Instructors will do whatever is needed to help you & your dog be the best together. Our offerings include classes, seminars & trials from Obedience, Agility, Rally, Scent Work to FastCAT, Tracking, and Tricks. We also offer weekly drop-in conformation handling classes for the show ring. There is a something for everyone and dog training is a great family sport.

We offer Basic Manners and Obedience Level I and II classes to the public. These classes are taught by qualified instructors and assistants and are based on positive methods. We not only teach basic obedience commands, but we help the owner build a strong working relationship with his dog through respect and understanding. Dog owners are also given mini-overviews on such topics as: nutrition, grooming, first aid, etc. Problem behavior is also a hot topic and covered weekly in classes. We also offer Agility Foundation and Handling classes to the public with qualified instructors guiding handler and dog teams through the basics to the advanced challenges on the course.

UpSwing Canine Behavioral Services provides professional behavior support for dogs facing fear, anxiety, reactivity, and arousal regulation challenges. Miranda Genetti was a member of the Pennsylvania National Guard and was discharged as a disabled Veteran. Due to her injury, she became a certified Master dog trainer in May of 2016 with the help of the VA’s Vocational Rehabilitation program. She has competed in American Kennel Club (AKC) conformation dog shows from the age of 9 to the present. She’s competes with her own Belgian Malinois and Miniature Pincher, as well as showing other breeds for professional handlers. During the Purina National Dog Show, she won Best of Breed two years in a row! A Dog Show which was broadcasting on television for Thanksgiving Day.

We offer positive dog training and compassionate pet sitting in State College and the surrounding areas. Our dog training takes place at Auntie G's Dog Training School in Lemont, where we offer group classes and private lessons. We are proud to offer 11 different classes. We can do special consultations for dogs with behavioral issues and perform loving drop in visits for your pets when life takes you away from home.

I'm Jill Hallam-Miller and I'm Perry County's only Certified Professional Dog Trainer (CPDT-KA) and Fear Free Certified trainer. I provide group dog training classes and private in-home or online training. My mission is to help people achieve their training and behavior goals with their companion dogs, and to support them for the life of their dogs using positive reinforcement and fear-free methods.
