We offer Puppy Class, Group Classes, Service & Therapy Dog Training, Private Lessons, and Board & Train. Training classes include Building Bonds, Socialization, & Distraction Resistance Exercises. We Help owners eliminate: Jumping, Nipping, Barking, Biting, Impulse Control, Resource Guarding, & Reactivity. Classes for dogs 8 weeks or older, only 8 dogs/class. Obedience Curriculum includes: Heeling, Sit, Down, Place, Stay, Finish, Recall (the Come) & All Off Leash Exercises. We offer Canine Good Citizen Testing: CGC, CGCA, CGCU, Trick Dog. Specialty Classes Include: Rally, Scent Work, Outdoor Classes, and Competition.

The method we use is all about self discovery and decision making. Dogs learn through predatory instinct and natural wolf-like behaviors/corrections, our method allows you to bring out your dog's natural abilities and potential to become a loyal companion and family pet. Because all breeds are unique, different types of training techniques are needed. If you were ever wondering why you've tried other trainers or programs that have failed, it's because they are trying to use one method on all dogs. Our method relates to the predatory instinct in the animal and because all dogs are predators, they understand and accept this method. Hi, I’m Anna (Childs) Feller, a dedicated dog trainer and the heart behind Adelhorst Kennels. I’m passionate about helping dogs and their owners build strong, respectful relationships through clear communication and consistent, real-world training. I work with all breeds and ages, using a non-treat-based approach that focuses on lasting results. Whether you're starting with a new puppy or working through behavioral challenges, I’m here to guide you every step of the way. In addition to training, I also offer boarding, German Shepherd breeding, and pet photography, combining my love for dogs with years of hands-on experience. My goal is to help you and your dog thrive, at home, in public, and everywhere in between.
