The Tails Training & Veterinary Center is dedicated to keeping pets healthy, happy, and home. Our Training Center, adjacent to Tails Humane Society, offers over 3,500 sq. ft. of space where certified instructors help dogs and families reach their training goals, ensuring pets are well-mannered and loved for life. Within the same facility, our Spay/Neuter Clinic provides high-quality, low-cost surgeries and preventive care, tackling pet overpopulation so every animal has a chance at a home. Tails Humane Society offers the area’s most comprehensive, compassionate care for pets and their people. Our clinic only offers vaccines at the time of spay/neuter.

Every dog has a unique personality and disposition. Because of this, every dog needs tailored training. This requires a unique trainer, with a wide range of experience and a wealth of knowledge. Whether you want to train a young dog, or an older dog, you need expert guidance to effectively train your dog. You can count on Topnotch K9 to provide competent and professional training. Topnotch K9 is dedicated to providing Force Free pet dog training. We feel that every dog requires a unique tailored training program utilizing the most advanced techniques based on sound learning theory and established science.

Rand Park Dog Training Club, Inc. (RPDTC) is a volunteer based not-for-profit organization. We offer hands-on dog obedience, rally, tracking, nosework training and puppy kindergarten for owners and their dog(s) in Fall, Winter, & Spring. Summer training is strictly for club members & current trainees. RPDTC does not provide board & train options. Club members enjoy social activities with their dogs. Additional Services provider include: Lectures*, fun matches* (practice trials), and demonstrations. *fee may apply We utilize the DesPlaines Park District for on-site training. Registration occurs through RPDTC only. Business hours listed reflect typical obedience training hours. Inquiries accepted via phone/email daily after 10:30am.

Dog Tribe offers a variety of specialty dog training services, including agility, protection training, and scent detection. At Dog Tribe, you can also find dog pool rental services and host events at our dog-friendly event space.

We train and place hearing assistance dogs for adult residents of Illinois and Wisconsin who are deaf or hard of hearing. We also provide private coaching services for people and their pet dogs that want their dog to alert them to sounds in the home they frequently miss. Hearing assistance dogs are trained to alert their owners to a wide variety of sounds, including: door knock/bell, smoke alarm, cell phone ring, fridge warning beep, name call, baby cry, gas stove click and tornado warning siren. Our trained dogs profoundly improve the quality of people's lives.
