Detection dog training in Idaho

Idaho Elite K-9 is located in Lewisville, Idaho. It is owned and operated by Chris Norman who has been working with dogs for approximately 18 years. Chris is currently a Police K-9 Handler with a dual purpose K-9. Chris has worked with many kinds of dogs and has over one thousand hours of hands on training with dogs. At Idaho Elite K-9 Chris strives to provide elite service when it comes to the training and boarding of dogs. Utilizing his years of service and knowledge working with K-9's and other dogs to provide you with the results that you are wanting, while providing you with the education and support that you need to be successful after training is completed. Cottonwoodretrievers is Idaho’s premier dog training facility. We are a full time training facility settled along the boise river on 42 acres of pastures and ponds developed for dog training. We have trained dogs from AKC field trials and hunt tests competitions to some detection dogs for the Marine Corp. We offer training at all levels from basic to very advanced.We also have started and finished dogs along with very good well bred puppies . Idaho Capital City Kennel Club offers information on dog ownership and competions through our educational programs at monthly meetings, through our telephone advice and referral system, and through classes and seminars at our Training Center. Our members are interested in purebred and mixed breed dogs registered with the American Kennel Club. Our members exhibit their dogs and have interests in many dog sports, including the AKC sports of Conformation, Obedience, Rally, Agility, Tracking and Scent Work.

Programs include canine good citizen preparation, obedience training and group classes.
