TJ went above and beyond. I have a very difficult cane corso. I couldn’t take him around people. He had some trauma as a puppy and I couldn’t find a trainer that would work with him due to his aggression. After a few weeks with TJ I’m able to take my dog in public around people. My dog is now calm and not attempting to bite people. TJ spent so much time with me after my dog’s boarding. TJ exceeded my expectations in every way. I had my doubts going in due to the nature of my pup’s behavioral issues as a stray, but wow I could not have asked for a better experience. Not only does Simba walk on the treadmill daily, he also takes himself upstairs for naps and no longer exhibits defensive behavior on walks. Sending my dog to TJ for a board-and-train was the best decision. As a first time pet owner, I really didn’t know where to start with training. I researched other training programs that were less of a commitment, but chose to do the board and train as I wanted a strong foundation. It’s been over a year since, and her training has stuck, making my life as a dog owner so easy! TJ is SO knowledgeable and passionate about every dog. His facility is clean, professional, and the limited number of dogs he takes at a time are well taken care of. He has remained an incredible resource with questions that have come up over time (like barking at the window, or at the doorbell, etc.). I have also used him for boarding after our original training when I’ve gone out of town, and he’s provided helpful tune ups for leash behavior so I could really make sure I was understanding and upholding his training (it’s a lot to take in!). I’ve sent other friends to TJ with a variety of different breeds and behaviors and each dog has come back with SO much improvement, we joke they have a new dog. I could not recommend him more.
