FirstBarkAt one time this was THE destination for training and education. Not only were the trainers knowledgeable in dog behavior, they knew exactly how to meet clients with kindness and respect. I am beyond disappointed with the current management and how their lack of business savvy pushed excellent trainers to other workplaces.

Do you have any virtual dog training options?
Not all of our dog training services have virtual options, but private dog training can be done remotely. We offer 30min private training sessions via live video chat if you can't come see us in Overland Park.

I have an older dog. Can they still do agility training?
Yes! We encourage older dogs to participate in dog agility training as long as they are healthy and active. We do not recommend agility classes for elderly dogs that may have arthritis, joint problems, or balance issues. Please check with a local vet in Kansas City if you’re not sure.

Do you offer therapy dog training?
Yes, we offer therapy dog training classes! Our six-week therapy dog program is open to all dogs who have passed their Canine Good Citizen Test or the equivalent.

I have been taking my newly adopted senior dog to see Jessica at the zoom room for a couple months. I have raised and adopted many dogs, but this little dude had some major aggressive anxiety behaviors that I was struggling to address. Jessica & Matt have both been very encouraging and helped me just go back to the fundamentals of training and start completely over from square one. This has been a great experience for my dog and I and we have made substantial progress in a very short time. Thank you ZOOM ROOM!
I just met with Matt for an orientation and really felt this will be a good fit for my dog. Can’t rate training yet, as we haven’t begun.
