Zoom Room Dog Training

I have been attending zoom room, each of my dogs in their own classes, for the last several months, and am absolutely delighted. Some of the top elements are: - the courteous way staff treat each dog family, from beginning to end of each class or encounter. - having dog families enter/ exit one at a time, to help reduce reactivity between dogs for entire time of participation, allowing the space to continue feeling safe and calm for the dogs (and all the people) - clean premises - the ability to buy treats/ leashes/ training tools DURING class (quickly and quietly) so that the lesson isn’t delayed if you run out of treats. - using a training model that accepts different learning paces, rather than pushing you through a set amount of weeks, whether your dog has met the goals or not; OR, on the other hand, recognizing if your dog is ready to advance to the next classes earlier than anticipated, and not holding them back. - being able to book private lessons or private use of the training area, allowing me to try new activities with each of my dogs to learn what they may enjoy learning next. Truly, I only have good things to say about the zoom room, and my dogs show their enthusiasm for it each week. I am grateful we have this resource in Tacoma.

My pup and I started training here in June 2026 and absolutely love it. My dog is 6 years old and hadn't had any "formal" training classes before. I was looking for a structured way to socialize her amongst other dogs and to spend quality time together. She adores going to classes and now begs me for mat time at home. It has been a wonderful way for us to connect with each other. The obedience classes are set up well with lots of space between dogs and trainers know how to scaffold learning to meet you where you and your dog are at. I highly recommend zoom room even for older dogs and rescues (mine is one) who have not had the benefit of puppy training. At the minimum you will be spending time together and socializing your dog, but it is more likely you will learn lots of skills and improve your relationship with each other.

We really love the Zoom Room! Getting a puppy can be an exhausting adventure, but the Zoom Room has made us feel cared for and like they’re on our team. They do a great job to accommodate every dog in the class and make sure everyone is safe. I also really appreciate the various times for classes and online booking system so we can book classes at our leisure. We’re excited to progress through the classes with our little one!
