Zoom Room Dog Training

We have sent all of our pups to the Zoom Room and they learned from an early age the basics of sit, stay, down, leave it, and 'touch' which is one of the BEST commands they know! It's actually telling them to come but it's more like a fun game for them!! We get lots of compliments of how well behaved our pups are in public - we take them on trips, to restaurants, and shopping and they do very well! A few people have asked us if it's the characteristic of the breed to be so well behaved - Uh No!! It's because we have spent a lot of time training our pups! And I just want to mention that they offer puppy preschool classes for pups up to 14 weeks (I think that's the max age before they move on to the next level). It's a great way to socialize your pup early! The trainers at Zoom Room are GREAT! - they're so patient and they teach at a great pace. And if they see that someone is having trouble, they will offer assistance. Blaine, the owner, is just so nice - and he's the host with the most! He walks around talking to the pet owners, answers ant questions people may have, gives advice if he notices anything, plus he's always so kind to offer water and coffee to anyone waiting. The technique they teach is so easy to follow and it's so rewarding to see it pay off when you have the best behaved pup the next time you take them for an outing!!

We got a Christmas puppy last year who turned out to be more rambunctious than we had anticipated. We've been taking Latte to Zoom room for the last few months and have seen a pretty good improvement in being able to get his attention! Classes aren't just for teaching dogs commands and tricks, it's also teaching the human how to give commands and reward correctly, easier said than done! We especially love trainer Mike who comes to each class with enthusiasm, a genuine love for dogs, and sooo much patience. Thanks Zoom Room!
