Zoom Room Dog Training

We had so much fun at Zoom Room! Brought my boy in for some private lessons and he took to it so fast. I love their positive reinforcement methodology and how excited the team got when he did well. Can't wait to attend our next session! Update: Gotham just finished his last private session and is moving on to group classes! We have so much fun every time we go to class and the trainers are just so knowledgeable and patient. So excited for the next new challenge!!

Seemed like a great place at first, went for an evaluation I paid for and rented space for half an hour and everyone seemed great. Twice they verified my dogs shot records. Bought a package, the day of the first training they said they didn't have vaccination records which I had verified that they had. I couldn't put my hands on it so I had to cancel that appointment and realized I wasn't going to be able to use the package at the time, so I wanted to return it. They charged me $50 for a class that they canceled on me and $35 administration fee to process a refund. None of which is on the receipt and according to Texas law not legal, realizing they were not going to refund me my entire amount and charge me a 25% cancellation fee for services that were never rendered I told them I would just keep the package, but they said it was too late they had already refunded a partial amount. I'm very unhappy, it's ridiculous that I'm paying for something I never received not to mention against state law but they were so horrible and rude about it any good impression I had at first has been destroyed and I would never recommend anyone waste their time with this business. I was planning on signing my dogs up for more classes at a later date but I will never step foot in this place again other than to pick up the rest of the money they owe me. I've checked with multiple dog training places in McKinney and Frisco and no one has policies like this. Probably because it's not only a bad business practice but the receipt is the contract, and their cancellation and administrative fees are not part of the receipt. What they're doing is not allowed, it takes less than a minute to process a refund and to be charged $85 for them to reverse a charge is ridiculous.

Our puppy has developed more focus, obedience and confidence with each class. The emphasis on training the trainer is wonderful; by teaching people how to implement the skills, we can then work on the skills outside of class so that the dog can progress throughout the week and be ready for harder tasks by the next class. I appreciate how the skills are individualized and the trainer goes at the pace of you and your dog regardless of how others in the class are doing. General information, Q and A time, and troubleshooting have been other major benefits of the sessions. I have received excellent advice and learned a lot! My dog loves coming (so do I) and it's always a completely positive and productive experience. Professional and clean place, makes training fun!
