Zoom Room Dog Training

We've been to a few classes and playgroups and really enjoyed it so far. The staff is very accommodating and friendly. They meet your dog where they're at and go out of their way to support you. They're quite flexible but the guidelines they have in place are there to help most dogs achieve the best results. I thought my dog didn't need obedience 1 since she knows basic commands but I still found the class surprisingly helpful. My only suggestion is that it might be nice to have some opportunity for socialization during classes as currently you can either attend a play group which is just unstructured socializing or a class which has no socializing between students.

Zoom Room went from fantastic to dismally unqualified since Courtney was unexpectedly fired. All the trainers, except Meg, currently there are not certified nor do they hv extended experience. They are so young, it’s impossible to hv any experience with dog training and behavior. While I applaud them for trying, it is on the owners of zoom room to be responsible to the customers for the rediculous high prices they charge for unqualified so called “training”. Indeed the owners are not local and virtually NEVER visit the location. How could they know the atmosphere and experience Courtney created for her staff and clients! They are in CA and you wld think they would want to check in a day or two a month to first hand witness what a great place owners can rely on for their dogs. It appears this business is just about the money they make on this location. They took the heart and fun out of zoom room. Since Courtney left I tried an agility class w Meg and found it to be dry and tedious as Meg stood rooted to the countertop and did not participate in classes the way Courtney did. It simply wasn’t any fun 😕. Zooms big advantage was Courtney’s personality and love of people and dogs. She has true commitment and joy for her job. It will take years for the others to catch up on experience and be effective for what zoom room advertises and charges for. I wld discourage anyone from zoom room for dog training as I now know the difference between professional dog training and training on the job for a novice.

Zoom Room has been so good for our golden doodle puppy! I highly recommend puppy preschool for those with puppies who are not fully vaccinated yet. Zoom Room creates a safe space to socialize young pups and start basic training. It really helped our shy puppy get comfortable around other dogs! They have a great philosophy around dog training and stick to it. All the trainers and staff are also very lovely and helpful with all things dog training. They also have a great selection of healthy treats, safe toys, and curated harnesses.
