It does require consistency from the owner to reinforce what you learn at home, but on the whole, their approach is effective and their model is well-structured to have flexibility in scheduling week-to-week, which I really appreciate.

I have a Min Pin 3 yr old rescue. Does fine at the dog park but aggressive when on leash & approaching other dogs while being walked
I corrected this behavior with high value treats like salmon or chicken liver. A no pull head collar works very well too!

I love the kind staff at the Belmont Zoom Room. My dog is big and awkward so I sought help. She's a mix of different large breeds and I needed her to be better at leash walking since I'm not very tall or strong. Going to Zoom Room and working with this great trainers has help me and my dog go on calm walks where I'm walking the dog rather than being pulled. She's also gotten great with recall (she comes when I call her from a distance) and so off leash experiences are getting better and better too! LOVE this place and the wonderful, knowledgable staff. Thank you for loving my dog and helping with her!

I have a rescue dog who is anxious and frightened of many things. I thought that this might make it difficult to have her trained to be a good canine citizen in a group environment, but I couldn’t be more pleased with Belmont’s Zoom Room! Everyone has been very helpful and supportive of my dog and her owner. They have been thoughtful in their approach to integrating her into a group class and have always kindly met her where she is comfortable. Their method is all based upon gentle and rewarding activities and my girl has progressed in only a few weeks. When we finish our level 1 training, I will be back for continuing training and the enrichment activities as well. Also, I checked out other training programs and was never satisfied with the facilities. The Zoom Room is clean and well organized, and as noted, staffed by dog lovers! I highly recommend it!
I have never done puppy school but this was highly recommended and I am so glad I did! Penny loves it!

We were thrilled to find a Zoom Room on the peninsula for our Australian Labradoodle puppy, Rumi, after having such a great experience with another Zoom Room with our first dog. Meg, Erin, Georgie, and Henry are fun, informative, and helpful trainers who have really gotten to know our dog over the months and have helped train us as humans as much as they’ve helped train her. We love that they know her by name, her personality, her strengths and quirks. We’ve done puppy obedience, puppy agility, obedience 1, and we’re now working through obedience 2. Looking forward to continuing our work together! Also, we love the treats and goodies this Zoom Room carries and we make sure to stock up from here every so often :)
