Zero To Hero Dog Training

I have used Austin’s services for both my rescue Rotties. Our first, Bear, was actually our 6th rottie but our first adult adoption. After adopting him from the Stark County Pound he had a really bad habit of going crazy in the car that didn’t come out until he was feeling better medically weeks after his adoption. We couldn’t even take him to the vet. In just a couple sessions he was riding around and lived the pup cups in the drive thru! The lessons package worked great for him and Austin never rushed us. 6 months later we (unplanned) took in a 10 months old rottie girl who was on her way to being dropped at the pound near Columbus. Her owns had just finished selling her puppies at a White Castle. 4 months after taking her in we opted for the board and train program for her. She had al been attacked by another stray and we were concerned she might hurt our smaller dogs. After several weeks she finally would play and run around. I was so happy as in the 4 months we had her she’d never run or play with us or our dogs. While she won’t be our “ambassador” like her brother is- she is calm, listens, follows commands, and loves to play tug and acts like a dog and doesn’t seem depressed anymore. She loves to travel and goes to work with me nearly everyday. While in boarding Austin kept in close contact. I had interviewed two other trainers when looking for a trainer to help with Bear, I chose Austin because he was relaxed with Bear, didn’t rush the consult, and Bear seemed to click better with him than the other two. I like that Austin teaches so many commands via play so both of them have really come out of their shells!

Millie is my 3-year-old Bernedoodle, and I was looking for help with basic commands and eventually hiking off-leash. Austin was an incredible dog trainer. It’s clear how much he truly loves dogs and is deeply invested in helping both owners and their dogs succeed and be happy. We completed over eight lessons with Millie, and Austin gave me all the tools needed for us to be successful. After just a few sessions, Millie was confidently off-leash, thriving on the trails, and reliably responding to commands. Austin and his program were truly life-changing, and I am extremely grateful for all of his help.

Bear was a shelter dog. After 6 weeks with me, he started displaying a bit of aggression towards visitors and I couldn't fix it. After a bit over a month with Zero to Hero, Bear was happier than when he left for training. This experience has been amazing as the method was simplistic yet very effective. I highly recommend Zero to Hero to help bring any dog into their best self and my Bear is more loving and better adjusted than ever.
