Zenergy Dog Training

K and RJ are hands down, the best dog trainers in all of Arizona. Their passion for their work is evident and they truly do this work because they know they are savings lives -- both dogs and humans. The miracles they perform are not easy, and any client should be honored to have an opportunity to work with them, and more importantly -- learn from them. The work truly begins when owners take their dogs home, where they will need to keep up a consistent program. If you need a dog trainer and all other avenues have failed you, Zenergy is THE place to go.

From the moment K and RJ with Zenergy met our dog, Prince, we could tell they knew exactly what he needed to learn proper pet behavior. We have been using their tips and tricks and we now have a much better adjusted dog. I will continue to watch their YouTube channel, and all the other informative content they share. As a pet parent, it is our job to learn how to properly care for our dogs, and Zenergy gives me the tools to do that.

Wow, am I forever grateful for Zenergy Dog Training! Duffy is a 7 year old Cairn/Norfolk Terrier rescue who started to show signs of aggression toward guests in the home, had leash reactivity, and was as stubborn as you can get. He would growl, bark, and nip at guests, and it was only getting worse. It got to the point where either Duffy gets trained, or I had to give him up (which I could never do). K scheduled a phone consultation with me and we went over every single issue Duffy had. She was so understanding, non-judgmental, and cared so much for not only Duffy's well-being, but also mine. She and RJ recommended the 5-week bootcamp. The price was hard to swallow, but this whole experience has been worth every single penny. Maybe even more! I got to see daily updates of Duffy working at his bootcamp on instagram and watching his transformation was the most amazing thing I've ever seen. Duffy learned to trust in his leaders, listen to commands, have a bomb-proof recall, walk/heel nicely on a loose leash (or no leash! what?!), and learned that aggression will get him NOWHERE. When I came to the go-home lesson, K and RJ spent a couple hours with me just answering my questions and going over his progress in bootcamp. The time they dedicate to their clients is like no other. When Duffy finally came out, I was just blown away by how respectful he was and how much he trusted his trainers. My go-home lesson was almost 4 hours long- that's how dedicated K and RJ are to their dogs and clients!! However, they are not joking when they say the real work begins at home. The transition was tough for my little guy, but K and RJ were there every step of the way. They even reached out to me after 9pm and called me when Duff was having a hard time and I didn't know what to do. Life. Savers. They are always responsive to messages and texts, and K even drove 30 min north to where I live for a follow-up lesson in the home. Sometimes they'll randomly text and ask how he's doing if I haven't checked in for a few days. They have definitely become "lifers" in my book and I will forever be thankful! Duffy is currently halfway through his 90-day at-home bootcamp and we're doing things I only dreamed of. He loves playing his "place" game, earning his food, and always having a job. I've had guests in the home and he knows his job is to be on "place" while they're there. He doesn't growl, bite ankles, or pull any of the other nonsense he used to. My guests have been super impressed and can't even believe that he is the same dog!! We recently went on a hike, and he's completely unfazed by fast bikes, big dogs, bunnies, lizards, etc. He has completely shifted his state of mind and learned to trust his human. He is the version of Duffy I hoped and dreamed for, all thanks to Zenergy. Don't hesitate to reach out and ask for a consult- you will NOT regret it!!!

So I call for some questions, and in the middle of leaving a voicemail, I get a call back. I answer, and the first thing I get is "do I know you?" Followed with so much more attitude. All I was calling for was some info. If don't want your phone being Calle who you're with a Client or whatever the case is, put your phone on silent or turn it off. Dont answer the phone to potential clients with attitude. I couldn't imagine if I left my dog there for a couple weeks like I was planning and then call to check on him and then get treated with attitude on the phone. Very unprofessional. There's other places out there that treats ALL of the customers right, potential or current,human or dog. I wouldn't recommend calling or going here.

I cannot thank Zenergy enough for training my dog, Chunk. He was fear aggressive, would wine and lunge at other dogs on walks and I would limit my walks with him because I was fearful I couldn't control him. Now, after Zenergy, he's a completely different dog. He's confident, SO POLITE, and has been walking with other dogs! He can hold commands, I can hike with him off leash and his recalls are incredible. The only thing I regret is not calling them sooner!
