Zenergy Dog Training

I will tell you that 5 stars are simply inadequate for reviewing Zenergy Dog training! In fact there are not enough stars in this galaxy to reflect how completely thrilled we are with the work K and RJ have done with our sweet dog Rajah. Our initial plan was to do one on one training with me and the dog and Zenergy, as he had a lot commands down. I had been working with him every day since we got him. HOWEVER, after the 2nd lesson, I decided to do the boot camp. BEST DECISION EVER!! We now, after one week, have a dog I can and do, take everywhere, and the first thing people say ( after “what a beautiful dog” ) is how well behaved he is. It is a fabulous feeling to take your dog out knowing he is going to do as you say and not misbehave. Awesome recall, calm on command, does as he is asked and lies down quietly for as long as I tell him to. He is still just as sweet, no change in personality. I have learned the true meaning of how to be the best pack leader I can to him. Zenergy teaches you and your dog much, much more than just commands, but truly how to communicate with your dog, and lets your dog understand what you expect of him. They help you understand and avoid the common mistakes that we people often make with our dogs, because we love them, but then provide the recipe for misbehavior by not setting the appropriate limits and structure for them. My husband and children were amazed at his transformation. Neighbors too! Always a good dog he is now AMAZING!! Yes they use e collars. The setting my dog works off of I cannot feel. At the point I can feel it, it feels like a Tens unit. NOT shock.DUH! Zenergy trains the dogs in their home which is a lovely, immaculate, safe, warm setting. Their own dogs, who of course are perfectly behaved, are mentors to the untrained little heathens entering boot camp. They taught Rajah how to play appropriately and have nice puppy manners with other dogs. K and RJ approach dog training with an incredible passion, kindness, an enormous wealth of knowledge and love. I am so grateful to the Universe for putting us in their path, I can’t imagine ever using a different trainer or a different method. THEY ROCK!! Worth every CENT!! We couldn’t be happier! So there, from a total skeptic to singing the Hallelujah chorus!!!

I was desparate for help when I finally found Zenergy Dog Training. I had rescued a pitbull who had increasingly severe food aggression and no leash manners that was threatening my ability to keep him by the time he was 7 months old. They took him in for 4 weeks and gave me back a dog that I could not only keep, but I could take him out of the house and on walks without concern. I couldn't be happier with the results that I STILL have. Don't expect a perfect dog at the end of your training, expect the perfect foundation to build a relationship with your dog that is both give and take. They give you the opportunity to learn to communicate effectively with your dog and then build upon that set of skills in the house, on a walk, and out in public if thats what you want. Expect to continue to do "puppy push-ups" regularly, and expect to be blown away by how much you can actually teach your dog yourself as well with the tools they teach you to use. Also, they are there for you along the way, checking-in and following up regularly. My dog still has intermittent episodes in which I need to remind him of his manners when he eats, but I am now not only equipped to handle it, but I feel comfortable in that scenario and his issues not only decreasing in severity, but they are also becoming less frequent (he is now 1 year old) - AND I still give K and RJ updates and they STILL give me feedback and regular guidance in the form of text, video messages and phone calls. It is a lifestyle, but if you are prepared for it, you will never go back. I also switched my dog to a raw diet on their recommendations and his severe skin allergies have completely resolved as well!! He is so beautiful and HEALTHY because of them too. Thank you K and RJ for letting me keep my baby!

We can’t say enough good things about K and RJ at Zenergy. We went through a couple positive reinforcement trainers and it seemed as though things got worse. Our dogs were getting into nasty fights and couldn’t even be in the same room together. We thought we’d have to give one of them up for adoption. Zenergy was our last hope, and they did the impossible. Our dogs not only can be in the same room, they started playing with each other! We would have lost a family member if it weren’t for Zenergy, they gave us very simple instructions and tasks to complete at home and it’s been great at home ever since.
