Working with Mikael has made all the difference with how our dog behaves now. We have a very intelligent mini schnauzer that was super territorial and protective as a puppy. We couldn’t take him anywhere without him seeming like a vicious beast, barking at every person and dog that came close. It was embarrassing. He barked incessantly. And forget about trying to go for a walk, impossible. We tried another local dog training-daycare type of business but left when our poor dog caught kennel-cough there and the owner/trainer could not have cared less. Once our dog recovered I went looking for a new trainer and saw Mikael and Zen Biscuit on Nextdoor. After an initial meeting with Mikael we began sending our then 10-month-old dog off on excursions with him once a week. That was nine months ago. Now Mikael takes our dog out weekly to socialize, exercise, and reinforce what has been taught. I can’t say it enough, Mikael has made all the difference. Our dog is well mannered, obeys commands (mostly), walks well on a leash, listens when we tell him to stop barking. A truly wonderful transformation. Mikael is very knowledgeable, patient, friendly, and perhaps most important, our dog LOVES him.
Mikael is by far the best dog trainer we've had, and we've had quite a few! We were struggling to socialize our rescue and were absolutely amazed at what Mikael did to help him be a good boy around other dogs. Would totally recommend Zen Biscuit!
