I first worked with Matthias in 2018 when I got my first German Shepherd, Mona. We completed basic obedience, off leash training and protection. I knew that if I ever got another dog, I would start obedience training with Matthias as early as possible. I recently purchased another GSD, Goose, and we began his training at 9 weeks. Now, at just 4 months old, we have completed his basic obedience training. He is potty trained, walks beautifully on a leash and knows sit/stay/down. A few weeks ago, I took Goose with me to the annual Amish auction in Clarita, OK. There were thousands of people there, lots of cars, dogs and farm animals. Goose was so well behaved I was able to browse and shop without any issues. So many people came up to compliment him on being such a little gentleman. I was even able to go through the breakfast buffet line, leash is hand, carrying a shopping bag, and balancing a breakfast plate and drink. He just followed at my side and never tugged on the leash. Goose wasn’t even 4 months old yet! If you are considering taking these classes, please be reassured that these training sessions are well worth the money. This investment will allow you to truly and fully enjoy your dog.

Matt is the absolute finest trainer you will find. He’s been a trainer for over 40 years. I’ve had the privilege of working with him for several years and with numerous dogs. I foster through the Oklahoma German Shepherd Rescue and have gone to Matt with several of the rescue dogs to correct behavioral problems, sharpen up their basic skills and teach them new ones. Matt shapes his training to each specific dog. What I find most important is that Matt does not use an e-collar for training nor treats. Intimidation and bribery are not the way to train a dog - Matt will teach you how to build a solid bond of mutual trust and respect between you and your dog. . Just as important as training your dog, Matt will teach you how to properly work with your dog, recognize their behaviors and triggers to prevent problems before they arise, and make you a more knowledgeable dog owner.
