We really enjoyed working with Zack. He took the time to really assess, not only River, but us as owners to come up with the best plan to get the results we wanted. He was patient with us and was open to our ideas while guiding us in a better direction when he felt it necessary. Zack really goes out of his way to do what is necessary to mold the dog's behavior and to train the owner. He was flexible with our schedules and spent as much time as needed to complete that week's lesson(s). We came away with a well behaved puppy and all of the skills we feel are necessary to continue providing River with the lessons she needs to be a happy dog and us happy dog parents. Thanks Zack! P.S. We hired Zack's Pack Dog Training & Behavior as a last-ditch effort to save our rescued Staffordshire Terrier, Orca. Orca had a bite history and we thought she was an aggressive dog. After meeting with Zack, he taught us that Orca wasn't aggressive, she was fearful. And reacting out of her fear. Zack is very knowledgeable about dogs. He taught us so much! He is gentle and very patient - Orca and our other dogs love him and so do we. Upon completion of the training program with Zack, Orca is a different dog. She's obedient and much easier to handle. We, as owners, are much more knowledgeable of dog behaviors. We would say that Zack is the "dog whisperer", though we know that title is taken. But he certainly deserves it. We highly recommend Zack's Pack Dog Training & Behavior. Thank you, Zack! Orca, Sean & Bo

Love, love, love Zack! Our dog was so embarrassing anytime someone visited. With Zack’s help, our dog now sits in his “place” until invited to greet the visitor. Also, he showed us how to stop our dog from maniacally barking at animals on TV as if they were a serious threat in our living room. Don’t have a dog? Well, Zack has a storehouse of knowledge to help match clients with the right dog. He’s like a dog matchmaker! Zack is kind, reliable and has a special gift with the canine community.

Zack came over today to help me with a dog I am fostering. This dog, Luis, is six years old, was left at a shelter, and has no training. In one Zack session, Luis is already walking more confidently on a lead (a skill set I’m learning!), and is close to learning sit and down! The training is positive reinforcement and focused on helping the human understand the dog’s behaviors and how we can train ourselves to interact so dogs have a real chance at being happy healthy companions. I thought Luis and I had bonded a lot, but when Zack left, Luis wanted to get in his car and go with him! I’m grateful for Zack and highly recommend you schedule a session with him to give your pet and family a strong foundation and boundaries.

Zack was exactly what my 2y.o. pitbull and I needed. She already knew sit, come… lots of commands at home. But she was pushy and overly excited whenever there were other people or dogs around. Now, she’s much better with boundaries… she doesn’t jump on guests, is not as mouthy, is not as pushy with dogs, walks without a prong collar, I can take her with me almost anywhere… it’s a whole new experience. So glad we went with Zack for our training program!
