About Yuruani Olguin Dog Training
Yuruani Olguin is the founder of Yuruani Olguin Dog Training, Inc. She has worked extensively with clients throughout New York City, helping build relationships based on mutual respect and understanding. Yuruani is CPDT-KA certified and her training is based on force-free techniques, taking into account all aspects of each individual dog’s situation, including breed, background, temperament and, very importantly, household environment. Yuruani is also a Certified Separation Anxiety Trainer (CSAT). She specializes in working with clients whose dogs suffer from separation anxiety through a humane systematic desensitization protocol. Her goal is to help dogs and their humans live a happy and healthy life together.

Awesome job helping to train my Labradoodle puppy (Brady). Would highly recommend. So impressive watching how quickly Brady learned new skills / tricks. All of the general tips / feedback on how to raise a puppy were appreciated as well. Brady will miss Yuri!

Yuri is absolutely amazing! We brought her in to help with our 1.5 year old mini Australian shepherd - after the first session she had taught him vital skills to help cope with his anxiousness around the doorbell by going to a particular spot and waiting calmly. We were so impressed with how quickly she was able to connect with our dog and really get him to listen. This was our first experience with an in home trainer and Yuri made it an amazing experience. Yuri made us feel comfortable and addressed all of our questions as she trained. She easily taught us how to implement the tricks like leave it, drop it and settle into our daily routine to help manage our dog's energy levels. After every session we felt confident that we could continue the training and practice from Yuri's amazing instructions, and the additional homework sheets she emailed us were so helpful! We cannot recommend Yuri enough! You can tell within minutes that she truly is passionate about dogs and loves what she does. She was so sweet and patient, she really made us feel so comfortable! We plan on buying another package as soon as possible! If you're even considering booking Yuri - do it!

Yuruani was kind, professional, flexible, sweet with our dog and incredibly knowledgeable when it came to the cause of his issues. The method she taught us is working amazingly and is easy to maintain on our own, and she has made herself available for any follow up questions which is such a wonderful comfort! We will definitely come to her with any other training needs in the future, and you should too. She's the best I've encountered and you can tell she is truly passionate about what she does. Highly recommend!
We absolutely loved working with Yuri! Not only is she a natural with dogs, but she is also very loving and kind with them. In addition, she was very flexible with scheduling. She really was a joy to work with. My wife and I joked that we wanted her to move in with us. I would highly recommend Yuri's services to anyone!
