I saw your reviews in the Wash. Consumer Checkbook and wondered if you only serve Md. residents. I live in Va. and adopted a 3 yr. husky 4 days ago and she bit me when I tried to correct her. Do you work with dogs like this?

I’ve done two trainings here- when I first adopted my dog and a year later I took Agility. Both trainings were incredible and helped shape my entire approach to dog training. Positive reinforcement training really works and helped me build such a strong bond with my pup! I highly recommend you take your dog here for a class, no matter what age they are, as I learned a lot of new things that I wouldn’t have on my own.

Only good things to say. I took two classes with my dog, the intro and reactive and both were great and I highly recommend. Trainers are experienced, helpful and kind. I also love the emails about current topics--I respect their recommendations for all things. Thank you My Dog's Friend!

My 9th foster, first foster-fail and current fur-buddy is a 3-legged little dude who got a REALLY rough start in life and struggles with fear-based reactivity because of it. They worked with us on a tailored training program and really helped us recognize his triggers and help him gradually conquer them. It's a LONG list so we are still working through them, but they gave us the tools we needed to maximize his joy without judgement for what we did not know. Life saving really.

I've had several classes here, most recently with Veronica, Andrew, and Jackie. The trainers have been wonderfully positive and enthusiastic and we always leave the classes feeling like we succeeded and had a good time. There are many diverse classes, all very affordable. This is a gem for dog lovers in the DMV.
