FirstBarkWe had a dog trainer that quit on us and said we had to give the dog up/put him down. Last ditch effort with Neil and he was the best. He came to our home only 2 times and it really helped accomplish what we wanted to accomplish. No package of 6 1 hour lessons like everyone else, it was pay per session that lasted until it felt like we were done. For us it was 11/2 hours. Highly recommend!

We have a one year old German shepherd , we need help we purchased her from a breeder she is papered , the problem is she doesn't listen we had two shepherds before her with no problem .I'd like to know the training process , price and so on.Phyllis
Please call them. Megan will answer all your questions. We too have a pup that is very different from our previous dogs. We needed help too. We're now in our second class at YDBF and we've learned so much.

Hands down, one of THE best things we've done for our family was to hire Freddie from Your Dog's Best Friend. We have a 2 yr old son and a new German Shepard/Husky puppy. Freddie has helped us understand what our puppy needs, how best to communicate with him and given us some very specific tools to use to help him, and us, be the best we can be! Freddie doesn't just train your puppy, he trains YOU to be able to understand your puppy. Highly recommended. Freddie is a wonderful person and trainer. Money and time very well spent. Freddy helped me and my dog after my dog (a very large St. Bernard) got into it with a much smaller dog at the dog park, ending in my dog biting the other one. I was in full-on panic mode, and my dog was very anxious. It took Freddy two sessions to sort through the problem with me and teach me how to work as a team with my dog to avoid letting situations get out of hand. I can’t thank Freddy enough for the work he did, and I would strongly recommend him to anyone having issues with their dog. I would especially recommend him to big dog owners because of his experience with and love for large breeds.

We were matched with Freddie, and after just 2 sessions we are communicating with both our dogs on a whole new level. He really took the time to make sure we understood each ‘game’, practiced them with us and set us all up for success. Freddie teaches from a place of deep respect and understanding of dogs and their relationship with their people, it was a wonderful experience! We now know how to better communicate with our sensitive pup, and she is a more confident dog.

My husband and I worked with an in home trainer, Freddie, and he was so wonderful. Right away from the first session Freddie made sure that not only our dog was comfortable but that we were as well. He provided so many tools and games for us to work with our dog on and gave us the confidence as pet parents to train our dog in a way that worked with his behaviors instead of against them. We loved that Freddie really explained what was probably going on in our dog’s head to help us better understand how to help in each situation.
