Yooper Paws of Love is a dog training facility. Our mission is to TEACH owners to ENGAGE better with their dogs to empowering them to ACHIEVE their goals using MOTIVATION to create the perfect team of handler and dog. We train with force free, games based training that makes learning fun for dogs and owners. We specialize in helping disabled owners train their own service dog & helping fearful dogs feel safe. These are opposite ends of the spectrum, so no matter where you fit in we can help!

Do you offer dog training classes?
While I do offer some group classes, I typically start with private sessions. This is easier for both the owners and dogs. Plus it's much easier to schedule. My dogs are on site to help with socializing and practicing around other dogs.

Penny at Yooper Paws is an awesome trainer! She loves what she does and it shows in her work with dogs. Always kind and compassionate and she makes learning fun.
Penny has been great with all of our dogs. She's great at reading dogs and quickly discovering what they need. She's patient and knowledgeable and always has a good plan to help dogs meet the next family goal, or overcome a challenge.
I have three German Shepherds that Penny works with and all of them have their own personality and heve different needs, Penny dose an awesome job with training them as well as teaching me things that I can do to help my dogs. I give Yooper Paws five stars! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Cowboy was a very hyper hard to socialize dog after being attacked by other dogs at 8 months old, now with the the help of Penny at yooper paws he is friendly, social and has several dog friends.
