YAY Doggy Daycare & Training

I take my baby Paloma here and it’s absolutely amazing. They treat her with so much love and care, and she truly enjoys going. Not only did they train her incredibly well—especially since she’s a big breed that can be aggressive—but they taught her how to be so sweet and well-behaved. Paloma used to be aggressive and walked very crazily. We couldn’t walk her properly because we didn’t know how to train her the right way. They not only walked her many times, but also showed us exactly how to do it and walked us through everything step by step. The daycare is amazing—you get regular updates and pictures, which I love. Paloma gets very excited every time she goes. Highly recommend!

My dog is a large shepherd/lab/chow rescue that just turned 10 years old with no former training. I also travel a lot. I have never boarded my dog before trying YAY Doggy Daycare, and even got rejected by some dog sitters and had some bad experiences with dog walkers from Rover. So finding some help with my pup had been a stressful venture. As an anxious dog mom, it was such a relief to find Ali and his team. I have been a returning customer since his intro meet up in March 2024 and have boarded him 6+ times. So if that tells you anything about how much we like it here…lol. But if you need more convincing….i think an amazing indicator that a dog boarding place is exceptional is how my dog behaves after he leaves. He NEVER leaves anxious, or panting, or stressed. In fact, he is calmer and gentler, and even puts himself to bed in his home crate at night! He is a pup with separation anxiety so this is a HUGE plus for us at home. We also have a group chat for my dog with updates and photos almost daily. Ali is always available by phone and Han and Ibrahim are just so good with him. You can clearly see how much they love dogs AND how well they understand dog behavior. Which was so important for dog safety. I never stress when I leave Simba here and will continue to board him here for my trips!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I can’t say enough good things about Ali from YAY Doggy! From the moment he walked up our driveway, our high-strung Bernedoodle, Angus, completely calmed down — it felt almost magical. In just one session, Ali had Angus sitting, spinning, and lying down using only hand gestures. His calm, confident energy and clear communication make training actually enjoyable. What I really love about his approach is that he doesn’t believe in “bad dogs” — just uninformed parents. I honestly feel like I’m the one being trained, and I learn something new every single session. Ali is also incredibly professional and accommodating with scheduling, and get this — he came for our very first two-hour session even though it was his birthday! As for the daycare side, I don’t handle drop-off or pick-up myself, but I love that I still get photos and videos of Angus throughout the day. They even created an Angus group chat on his first visit without us even asking! The price is super reasonable, and the fact that they’re just three minutes away from our house is a huge bonus. I highly, highly recommend YAY Doggy for both training and daycare. It’s such a relief knowing Angus has a safe, loving place to play, learn, and socialize — and we get to see him grow into a more well-mannered, happy pup every day!
