I have a very busy schedule and was thrilled to find out there was a basic obedience class that fit in my schedule. However on my first day of class the recommended exercise for leave it was to verbally command my dog and correct with the leash. I am not entirely new to dog training and simply used my leave it and rewarded after he left a plate of cheese alone. The instructor seemed visibly annoyed that I was avoiding correcting my dog. Strong hard corrections were recommended for everyone in the room for other exercises as well. I have taken classes at akc clubs, from military veterans, and other sport focused locations. I was unfortunately disappointed that this class was harsher than any I have taken before. I will not be finishing my classes after the first day.

I was only able to go to the very first class. The lady was extremely rude towards me. And did not want anything to do with my dog. He is a bigger dog and I was having issues training him. I was excited to take him there to get help. I brought treats like I was told to. She made me feel stupid for not bringing people food. I don't like to give them that. She me me feel horrible because I did not have a good enough coller or leash, he would not sit still becasue he was excited and wanted to meet everyone, and was whimpering because he wanted to play. ( I had never had a dog before) she was very mean towards me. I was in tears before leaving. My anxiety was out of control because of how embarrassed and stupid she made me feel. I could not go back. My husband was unable to take him because of his work schedule. I would definitely not recommend this place to anyone. I was the youngest person there. For it being a training class I would think that the other dogs there would need training as well, they were so well behaved and obviously already had training before. Why have a beginner class if the dogs were already trained?
