When you find yourself coming to the conclusion that it is time to call in the professionals because you’re no longer in control but your dog is… you call in the best. During the introductory meeting we knew we had the right guy. Mitchell showed such gentleness, patience and compassion to Tatum. Mitchell led with a firm guidance and you could tell he truly loves what he does and loves the pets he works with. We decided to send our 4 year old Belgian Malinois, Tatum to 3 week Xcaliber boot camp. Mitchell sent us photos and videos during her whole stay. We were amazed at the change in her. She hadn't lost her sweet personality she just gained the confidence to be the dog she was meant to be. Mitchell was even able to take her out on outings. I cannot stress what an amazing feat that is! Previously, Tatum suffered from separation anxiety, impulse control, and stress behavior. She often chewed rocks and chased her tail till she bit it or destroyed couches. Mitchell was able to find her strengths and weaknesses which provided Tatum an opportunity to thrive. Before Xcaliber dog training we had just settled on the fact that we had a dog that was wreaking havoc on our lives. We are so thankful for Mitchell who has been extremely helpful with guiding us and Tatum on this new journey that will ensure our sanity and Tatums doggy life. If you are looking for a trainer that puts your dog first and offers love and healthy guidance in a safe environment look no further. This is the place, this is the guy!!! Your dog and your couch will thank you later.

X caliber only had my puppy for a week and she came back a whole lot more attentive, responsive and well behaved. We had realistic expectations not thinking she would come back as robot after a week, but our expectations were met in that the groundwork was laid for a solid foundation. Mitchell also worked with us and showed us what he had worked on and how we can continue the training. Mitchell is kind and patient and very easy to work with. PS we sent her back for her 1yr old, off leash obedience training. We continue to be amazed by the training and growth she experiences. Mitchell continues to demonstrate his expertise in dog training, and his ability to train dog owners, too.

To say I’m impressed is an understatement! I sent my two 5 month old puppies for the 1 week board and train. Mitchell kept me informed throughout the entire process and I could absolutely see the difference it was making with each update. You can tell he and his wife love dogs and that may be a silly thing for someone to include in a review but it was one of the things I was most worried about when sending them for a board & train. They were in great hands and came back to me exactly as I’d hoped - well trained in the fundamentals and Mitchell made sure I understood exactly what I needed to in order to keep up with what they’ve been taught. Very highly recommend!

Absolutely exceptional. Highly recommend! Mitchell and his wife Raegan were very understanding and compassionate as they welcomed our 18 month old lab/pit mix, Bindy into their 3wk board and train program during crucial time for our family. Bindy was an anxious new rescue and demonstrated some other behavioral issues such as jumping on people and lacked structure. They addressed all of our concerns and then some. She no longer jumps on people, she is now crate/kennel trained, responds to commands in addition to being well behaved on and off leash. Furthermore Mitchell provided us with two training sessions so we may become familiar and comfortable working with her after her stay with them. Throughout her stay with Mitchell and Raegan we were provided with frequent updates via video, text, or phone calls. It was so exciting to see her progress and growth in the process. We can’t thank or praise them enough!! We will be recommending them to everyone we know. Thank you again XCaliber Dog Training!!
